• Atlantech on Line Cooling System Upgrade

  Expansion of an existing 10,000SF Data Center and reconfiguration of the cooling system to become redundant with the capacity to isolate sections of the system with minimum interruption of service.

  The entire glycol piping system was reconfigured as the data center remained fully operational.

  One major issue with the Data Center was the practical limitation of power available from the building. CFR was able to decrease the power demand from the CRAC units by designing a central Ultrasonic humidification system that replaced the steam humidification system already installed on each CRAC unit. The immediate benefit of this design was to free up substantial power for additional racks and associated cooling. A secondary benefit of ultrasonic humidification for this application was the cooling effect generated by the process.

• Rydex-SGI Data center

  Relocation and expansion of an existing Data center including rear door heat exchanger technology, diesel generator and rotary UPS. The rear door system allowed substantial HVAC savings and maintained each rack at the proper temperature avoiding Data Center "hot spots".
